I finished Book 1 of Psalms this morning and just… wow. This is my first time reading the Bible all the way through, and no matter how far away from God I feel, or how sad or lost or lonely or anxious or angry I am, when I sit down to read His Word? None of that matters. It’s hard to explain. I’ve always loved books. I’ve always felt like books saved me, but this book? This book is the book. And I know that He saved me. Jesus saved me. He saved all of us. It’s beautiful. It’s so, so beautiful. I love God, I love Jesus, I love the Holy Spirit. I love the Bible. I love His Word.
If you’ve never read it, try it. You never know what can happen. Trust me. Trust Him. I promise, it will change your life. He will change your life.
And if you haven’t read it in a while, if you’re feeling sad or lost or lonely or anxious or angry, open up your Bible and read His Word. Start anywhere. He will heal you and guide you and help you through.
God is good, my friends, and His Word nourishes.
